Are you working on mobility, transport or road safety? Then, this event is very relevant to you.

Over the past 2 years, several prominent Belgian players have cooperated with IBBT on researching and developing demonstrations to show the usability and global state-of-the-art in Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) in the NextGenITS project. Subject use cases are: Traffic Information, Electronic Emergency Call, Intelligent Speed Adaptation, Road Tolling, Cooperative Systems (car2infrastructure, car2car) and Multi-application Management.

The results of the project will be demonstrated to you during the closing event on March 30th, 2010 at IBBT, Ghent. This event enables information gathering to decision makers in both public organizations and private companies and it will advise in political and social important aspects such as traffic safety, road-tolling, etc. The event is targeting audience from public organizations, such as ministries, city-level mobility advisors, police, as well as private companies looking for business in Intelligent Transport systems.

Commercial partners in the project are Alcatel-Lucent, Be-Mobile, ITS Belgium, Macq Elecronique, Mobistar, Nimera, NXP Semiconductors, Proximus, Siemens, Touring, Vlaams Verkeerscentrum and VRT.
