ITITE2 is a continuation of an intern project ‘ITITE’ in 2009. Internet technologies (for end-users) are being researched through innovation. In 2010, the main focus will be on technologies for mobile internet, quasi real-time applications, social internet and 3D applications in browsers.
The main target of ITITE2 is the research for techniques and methods for creating, editing and managing internet applications. These applications are meant for PC and for mobile and fixed media devices (TV, tablet,...).
We adopt a multidisciplinary approach. Mixing specific media knowledge and new technological possibilities of the internet, improves the chance for innovating and makes knowledge transfers and valorisation possible after finishing the research tasks.
Since internet technologies evolve very quickly and the windows of opportunity can be narrow, we prefer a very flexible project approach. ITITE2 is the main frame that we will use for our research tasks. ITITE2 will be further refined via several work packages.
