The ACM Multimedia 2010 conference is being held in Firenze (Italy) from October 25 until October 29. VRT-medialab will organize the AIEMPro Workshop, together with the EBU and RAI. It is already the third time that this workshop is being organized.
The main purpose of this workshop, is to stimulate the exchange of ideas and applications between important players, concerning research in media, to develop new ways of producing media, supported by automized analytic media tools.
The workshop should also help the researchers understanding the needs of the media sector in a better way. The ultimate purpose is to make metadata cheaper in the future.
