In December this year the Research and Innovation Agreement 2007-2011 that VRT-medialab was entrusted with, will come to an end. Therefore we’ll be organizing a goodbye event during iMinds, the yearly IBBT networking conference that, for the third time in a row, will be organized in the Ghent ICC. Thursday 13 October is the date to save.
iMinds is the place to be for everyone who is into ICT. Participants will be of all sorts: from researchers and creatives to venture capitalists, civil servants and politicians. IBBT will not only present her strategic plan for the next 5 years. Also the innovative projects that are in the pipeline will be discussed.
On the hand VRT-medialab as well as its spinoffs CandIT Media and Limecraft will have an info stand at the info fair, which can be visited from 9:30 am. On the other hand we’ll be playing a major role during the afternoon sessions. Our researchers will not only focus on the main projects that are currently running: CHAMP and MediaLoep (session 1 at 13:30) and VillaSquare/VillaCRM (session 2 at 15:30). We’ll be also looking back to the past 5 years, probably not without any feeling of melancholy.
