In this workshop the main principles of 3D TV will be explained. The current status of this technology and the standards will be discussed, as well as the expected evolutions. Different speakers will talk about every aspect of the end-to-end 3D chain: acquisition, production, compression, quality, postproduction, distribution and displays. A few demos are planned to show us today’s possibilities of 3D.
The workshop is hosted by Barco, who takes care of the location and the catering.
